Biography:
Richard Aird is one of the few Counsel jointly in practice at the Scottish and English Bars. He provides advice and advocacy in the Commercial, Insolvency and Cross Border fields and is a Contributing Editor of Commercial Litigation: Pre-emptive remedies (Sweet & Maxwell). He has appeared in House of Lords (on two occasions), Inner and Outer House of Court Of Session, most Sheriff Courts, in arbitrations and inquiries. For typical cases see attached CV.

Richard Aird chaired a conference for Central Law Training on 7 November 2006 entitled "Insolvency, Bankruptcy and Diligence - the New Changes" and Chaired the CLT's 2007 Insolvancy Conference, entitled "Understanding the implications of the new legislation", on 31 October 2007 (for details visit Murray Stable News).
He also spoke at the CLT's seminar "Insolvency 2007- What is New?" in Glasgow on 1st October 2007 and in Edinburgh on 8th October 2007, along with Desmond Cheyne, Advocate.
