Biography

Before calling Gordon Watt practised as a solicitor with a leading commercial firm for four years where he handled a broad range of commercial and contractual disputes.  He accumulated extensive experience of shareholder and partnership disputes, insolvency, judicial review, professional negligence and interim remedies.

Since calling he has conducted proofs as lead counsel in the Court of Session and Sheriff Court and has been instructed in a wide variety of interlocutory hearings.  He has appeared regularly in tribunals.  He has developed a civil and commercial practice with a particular focus on sale of goods.  He is interested in employment, partnership, reparation, property and company matters.
