NEWS: Richard Aird to speak at London Commercial Contract Litigation Conference 2008

Posted: May 14, 2008

Five barristers who specialise in Commercial Law are taking part in the Commercial Contract Litigation Conference in London on 17th June 2008.  Richard Aird, who is both an advocate and a barrister, will be addressing the conference on the comparative advantages of litigation in Scotland.  Richard's talk will include ground breaking material on the possibilities open to English litigators, and those from other jurisdictions, of invoking Scottish pre-emptive remedies such as attachments, arrestment and dawn raids in cases which have no other connection with Scotland.  This is a theme which Richard and other members of Murray Stable will be developing with Scottish based solicitors in a future series of seminars and in-house talks (for more details please contact Murray Stable on tel: 0131 260 5697).

The London Commercial Contract Litigation Conference 2008 is being organised by CLT and further details are available on CLT's website.
