Corporate Recovery Today - and Tomorrow
10th November 2011, Mackenzie Building, High Street, Edinburgh
1.45 - 6.00 followed by Champagne and Canapé Reception
Following their over subscribed Corporate Recovery Event in 2010, Murray Stable are holding another afternoon Corporate Recovery conference on 10th November 2011 at Mackenzie Building, Edinburgh followed by a champagne and canapé reception. Once again the event is attended by the most distinguished speakers who include: The Hon. Lord Drummond Young, Chairman, Scottish Law Commission, Professor Sandra Frisby of University of Nottingham, Bruce Cartwright, of PWC Business Recovery Team, as well as their members Richard Aird, Advocate, who chairs the event again and Iain Artis, Advocate, also of Murray Stable.
The key challenges facing all those involved in Corporate Recovery will be raised and discussed. What is unique about 10th November is that the event culminates in an interactive case study during which the fortunes of a deeply distressed Company, XLtd, are followed against a background of fast moving events. This will enable the panel of experts to bring to life the tensions which are all too often found in Corporate Recovery and to illustrate the best practices and procedures in Corporate Recovery in the most practical way.
Intended to be practical as well as accessible, this event is likely to be of value to those involved day in and day out in corporate restructuring as well as those with less knowledge who nevertheless wish to follow the process from start to finish. This afternoon conference has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates with three and a half hours CPD.
