Murray Stable's Family Law Group presents 'Family Law on Facebook - The Do's and Don'ts of recovery and disclosure of data for family lawyers'.

This free seminar which qualifies for 1.5 hours CPD covers issues important to family lawyers in the rapidly evolving sphere of information technology, including recovery of data, confidentiality and data protection.

Do you know:

  • What is scope for using material available on the internet in family actions?
  • When is it an offence to obtain or disclose personal data in family proceedings?
  • Is it unlawful for your client to post photographs of the school nativity play on his Facebook page?

These and other issues will be discussed at the seminar, for the benefit of members of the legal profession involved in financial provision claims and child law.

Speakers will be Jonathan Mitchell QC and Iain Mitchell QC, with Janys Scott QC in the chair.

The event will run from 4.30pm to 6pm (Tea from 4pm, wine reception afterwards).
