Janys Scott QC will be a guest speaker at Fife Law Centre's seminar on 'Children's Rights and the Law' being held on Wednesday 12 October 2011 in Kirkcaldy.

The aim of this event is to provide an overview of children's rights and the Children's Hearing reforms.

Janys Scott QC's presentation is entitled 'Hearing Children in the Law' and fellow guest speaker Professor Kenneth Norrie will deliver a presentation on 'The Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011'. Fife Council Children's Rights Strategy Group will give 'A local perspective on Children's rights strategy'.
