The Murray Stable is pleased to be joining up with the Aberdeen Bar Association and providing speakers for two events on their 2010/11 CPD programme.
On Thursday 11 November the Employment Law Group will make the trip North. James Murphie, Advocate, will speak on the "Employer's Right to Rewrite the Contract" and Kenneth McGuire, Advocate, will speak on "Garden Leave in Employment: The Legal Pitfalls", both highly topical subjects in the present climate.
Donald Cameron, Advocate and co-ordinator of the Murray Stable Employment law Group, says: "This will be an excellent event with talks from two experienced practitioners in the field - and well worth attending."
In March 2011 the Murray Stable Family Law Group will be presenting an evening seminar.
Aberdeen Bar Association is the representative body for practitioners in the Aberdeen area and has been providing monthly CPD events to members for many years. ABA also organises various social events for the local bar throughout the year.
For these events, a special one-off rate for non-members of £5 is payable on the night. In order to attend two or more ABA events in the 2010/11 programme, full membership is required - visit www.aberdeenbarassociation.org for details.
