Murray Stable member Scott Blair will be the speaker at Central Law Training's forthcoming event titled 'Licensing - the comprehensive update'. Scott has considerable experience of both licensing litigation and the work of the Licensing Boards and this practical update will review the most important recent developments including:

• Current practical issues and how to deal with them
• Criminal Justice and Licensing Act 2010 update - including changes to Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982
• Alcohol Etc (Scotland) Act 2010 update - inlcuding controls on packaging and promotion of alcohol
• Recent case law - licensing objectives, variations, suspensions and test purchases

The event will be held in Edinbugh on 23 February 2011 and in Glasgow on 24 February 2011.
